Use the information below to make your voting plan in the special election for Providence City Council Ward 2 representative.
by Mail ballot BY OCT. 14
The deadline for applying to vote by mail in the Democratic primary is Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Mail ballots will be sent to all voters who completed and returned their mail ballot application before this deadline.
Early in-person By Nov. 3
You can also vote early by casting your vote during the early in-person voting period which starts on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Early voting ends at 4pm on Monday, November 3, 2025.
emergency Mail ballot By Nov. 4
Voters can request an emergency mail ballot after the October 14 mail ballot deadline. Bring your completed application to City Hall before 8pm on November 4.
On election day Nov. 4
You can vote at your assigned polling location on election day, November 4, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
